The Best Colorado Wedding Venues

Looking for Colorado Mountain Wedding Venues?

If you’re planning on getting married in Colorado, you’re probably looking for a beautiful experience in the outdoors with epic mountain views. From rolling hills to stunning peaks, few places in the country are as majestic as those Colorado wedding venues with mountain views!

You have no shortage of Colorado mountain wedding venues to choose from… but with so many excellent options, how do you pick?

Telluride Wedding Venues

Telluride is one of Colorado’s best, most beautiful places to celebrate your wedding. You can find all of the best wedding venues in Telluride here.

Denver Wedding Venues

When it comes to Colorado weddings, few locations are more convenient than Denver. But the easy accessibility isn’t the only appeal of Denver wedding venues — they’re also downright gorgeous.

Here are my favorite Denver wedding venues with those dazzling mountain views you’re looking for.

Evergreen Lake House

Only 30 minutes outside of Denver, Evergreen Lake House is one of the most premier Colorado mountain wedding venues — and for good reason. Overlooking Evergreen Lake, this site is surrounded by mountains, meaning you get sublime views from all 360 degrees, all year round.

Get married on the wide deck extending over the lake, with views of Bear Mountain as your backdrop. If the weather won’t cooperate, simply move inside to the Octagon Room, where seven of its eight sides feature floor-to-ceiling windows (so you never have to sacrifice the view!).

Enjoy an elegant, log-cabin ambiance in the Great Room for your reception. A large stone fireplace, pine ceiling and walls, and elevated outdoor patio welcome up to 200 guests.

The Venue at Crooked Willow Farms

Another idyllic wedding venue only 30 minutes from Denver (and Colorado Springs) is The Venue At Crooked Willow Farms. Mixing the grandeur of the mountains with the charm of the country, this bucolic setting is a breathtaking canvas for your Colorado wedding.

At this 90-acre property located in the exclusive Plum Creek Valley, you can choose from multiple indoor and outdoor spaces for your ceremony and reception:

  • Mountain View Lawn: Acting as the welcoming ground of The Venue at Crooked Willow Farms, this manicured lawn is adjacent to the red-and-white Carriage House, overlooking rolling fields and the Rocky Mountains beyond. These impeccable views make it the ideal spot for your Colorado wedding ceremony.
  • The Carriage House Ballroom: White pine walls, soaring ceilings, and luxurious chandeliers mark this grand room, but it’s the hand-crafted, floor-to-ceiling barn doors that really “wow.” They open wide to welcome up to 250 seated guests, let in natural light, and reveal the nearby Rocky Mountain peaks.

Lola’s Loft: Climb the circular stairs up the turret to this rustic barn loft, where pillar candles, original red oak floors, and wagon-wheel chandeliers await. Open the double doors to reveal a spacious covered deck, where you and up to 100 seated guests can enjoy a cocktail (and, of course, mountain views).

 Piney River Ranch

Drive from Denver toward Vail to Piney River Ranch, where the mountain scenery will astonish you and your guests. Nestled in the White River National Forest, this 40-acre ranch sits on the edge of Piney Lake and at the foot of the Gore Range, surrounded by thousands of acres of backcountry wilderness.

Say “I do” on the ceremony deck, perched on the edge of the crystal-clear lake, with the Rockies as your backdrop. Next, choose between an open-air reception or a cozy indoor celebration amid the two spacious log pavilions, which can seat up to 200 guests. Enjoy “ranch-style” dining, followed by s’mores around the fire.

When it’s time to retire, Piney River Ranch offers six guest cabins, three glamping tents, and even a yurt for a unique mountain experience. Altogether, this ranch is one of the best Colorado wedding venues you can find.

Colorado Springs Wedding Venues

If you’re searching for Colorado Springs wedding venues, you have many options — but my favorite ones all center around the Garden of the Gods. This magical park, a registered National Natural Landmark, offers dazzling red-rock views for Colorado mountain weddings of all kinds.

Garden of the Gods

There are a few options for venues in this popular Colorado Springs wedding location. You can have your celebration inside the park itself or outside at an adjacent resort.

Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center

Inside the park is the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center, which allows you to hold your ceremony at a variety of different areas:

  • Jaycee Plaza (up to 50 people)
  • Sentinel Plaza (up to 25 people)
  • Three Graces Plaza (up to 25 people)
  • High Point (up to 50 people)
  • Scotsman Picnic Area (up to 25 people)
  • South Spring Canyon Area (up to 50 people)

There are no charge and no permit required to get married at any of these locations, but you may need to obtain a commercial use permit for your Colorado Springs wedding photography. Be sure to check out that and other restrictions outlined by the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center before choosing this option.

Garden of the Gods Resort and Club

A free ceremony sounds great, but if you want something more reliable and refined, consider the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club. This exceptional venue offers sweeping panoramas of the Garden of the Gods and the Rocky Mountains.

Choose between several wedding venues at this private resort:

  • South Lawn (up to 20 people)
  • Hill Room and Terrace (up to 40 people)
  • The View at Kissing Camels (up to 130 people)
  • Three Graces Ballroom and Terrace (up to 220 people)
  • And more

Aside from incredible views, the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club offers fantastic food, a dedicated planning manager, STRATA Med Body Fit bridal pampering services, and many other amenities to make your Colorado Springs wedding as memorable as possible.
