The Peaks Telluride Weddings

The mountains are calling—are you heeding the call? At The Peaks Telluride Resort in Mountain Village, Colorado, you can enjoy the mountain scenery in the height of luxury and comfort. The resort overlooks the beautiful San Juan mountains with their more than 8,000 feet of elevation gain, offering an unforgettable view from any of the luxury cabins or penthouses.

Decorated with cozy furnishings, the lodgings boast such amenities as fireplaces, hot tubs, pools, steam showers, grills, and even a media room.

There’s plenty to do during your stay at The Peaks, whether you’re enjoying a casual meal at Altezza or taking advantage of the resort’s partnership with Telluride Ski and Golf Resort to enjoy year-round opportunities for adventure.

Oh, and speaking of adventure, The Peaks is also a great place for starting life’s biggest adventure…

Weddings At The Peaks Resort in Telluride

What makes a wedding at The Peaks Resort in Telluride so wonderful? A team of wedding planners can take care of every detail for your dream wedding, all while you and your guests enjoy the comfort of the resort—no need to leave the grounds unless you want to.

Plus, The Peaks boasts a three-in-one wedding venue known as the elegant Crystal Room Combination, which has an amazing view from any of its sites (more on that in a little bit).

How Much Does It Cost To Have Your Wedding At The Peaks?

The Peaks have all kinds of wedding options to suit your vision, and the cost will depend on the celebration you have in mind.According to Wedding Spot, wedding packages at The Peaks start around $30,000, but you should check with the venue personally to get a proper estimate for the type of celebration you have in mind. The Peaks even has a proposal request form to make it easy.

The Best Time Of Year For Your Wedding At The Peaks

Generally speaking, the weather in Colorado is beautiful from June through October. (If you like a little bit more snow, you might opt for the winter months—but be careful, because you don’t want to have heavy snow impact travel plans for you or your guests.)

Remember, because June through October is such an ideal time, there’s also a lot of demand. Be sure to plan ahead and book early!

Where To Have Your Wedding Ceremony

Remember how we mentioned The Peaks’ elegant setup with three venues? Each one of the three sites offers a slightly different environment that’s perfect for one of the many stages of a traditional wedding.

You can start your big day on the Mount Wilson Terrace, an outdoor patio overlooking the mountains that would be ideal for your ceremony and even cocktail hour before the main reception begins.

Once it’s time for a formal sit-down dinner (or in the event of rain, and the ceremony has to come indoors), you can move to the Legends Dining Room, a luxurious setting for a formal multicourse meal.

Finally, you can finish off the evening in the Crystal Room, with its floor-to-ceiling windows and its expansive dance floor where you and your guests can party late into the night.Curious to get a better feel for each one of the sites? You can take a virtual tour from Wedding Wire.
